Product Description
Four to six showy fragrant blooms are produced on each spring green stem, in a lively shade of tangerine orange. Broad lance-shaped leaves provide a complementary backdrop for this cheerful multi-headed tulip. As great naturalisers, you will seethese tulips multiplying year after year, making them excellent value for money. We recommend mixing Shogun with Yari in the border, for a lively hot themed display celebrating the coming of spring. If an understated, simple display is more yourstyle, we recommend two matching pots of Shogun flanking an entry-way. Why not plant a few more than you need, for cut flower displays?Don’t forget that tulips like to be planted late in October and November with the colder weather (it helps wipe out disease, too.) Plant bulbs pointy side up, 12cm deep and water well. Top quality 10-11cm bulbs supplied. Flowers March to April.Height 25-30cm.
