Growing at a glance…
Bulbs are to be planted 8cm deep and about 10-12cm apart, in well-drained soil. Ensure the bulbs are planted somewhere that has plenty of access to sun. For best results, plant your Iris bulbs from mid to late autumn to then see them flower in early spring or mid-summer.
Take some care to prevent slugs and snails from attacking the iris once planted. Most Dutch iris are only suitable for planting in the garden or in a cool greenhouse or a cold frame.
