Add some drama to your summer garden with Hollyhill Spider Woman. It is an unusual variety of Cactus Dahlia, producing dark red and white spikes blending with pinks at the heart. It is ideally planted in a sunny garden border or patio pot, when the Dahlia is in full flower it can be cut for an excellent cut flower display.

Growing at a glance…
Dahlia tubers can be planted outdoors, 10cm deep in fertile well-drained soil in spring when the frost has disappeared. They prefer to be in a sunny location and spaced at approximately 45cm apart. In areas where there is extreme cold, dig up dahlias and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
