Product Description
The Governor is a beautiful semi-double, ruffled bloom with a black central disc, white centre and large cherry red margins. Standing atop 30cm tall sturdy stems above clumps of divided, fernyleaves, this Anemone is native to the Mediterranean and flowers in late winter, early spring, or a few months after its bumpy tubers are planted. The leaves die back after bloom, so we’drecommend planting with companions such as hardy Geraniums so you have continual growth throughout the months and avoid any bare spots. This is a good plant for containers, borders andwill add a pop of colour to rock gardens. The flowers are also excellent for cutting, to be enjoyed indoors. Flowers April to May. 5/6cm bulbs supplied.
