Product Description
Anemone Mount Everest is a classic snow white, double flowering variety. Reaching mature heights of 30cm they have sturdy stems and a clump forming habit, ideal for borders and rockeries. This Anemone is native to the Mediterranean and flowers from April to May. Ideally planted in the UK during mid to late summer, they will flower in the following spring. The leaves die back after flowering, so we recommend planting with companions, so you do not get any bare spots and add a variety of colours into the garden display. This is a good plant for containers, borders and rockeries gardens. Anemones will thrive wherever the soil is rich and drainage is plentiful. The flowers are excellent for cut flower displays in vases. 4/5cm corms supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Anemones should be planted at least 3-5cm deep and no less than 10cm apart. While they do not object to partial shade, they thrive best when planted in an area with plenty of access to sun. The richer the soil, the more flowers they will produce. They are an excellent choice for borders or rockeries, but can also be grown in pots or containers provided they are not given any heat. Care should be given to ensure that there is good drainage as these blooms are very sensitive to dampness. They are a fantastic choice as they will naturalise and multiply quickly over the years. All anemones are perfectly hardy and are ideal subjects for cut flowers, borders and rockery displays.
